Are you avoiding chocolates because you are afraid of gaining weight? If you don't know yet, chocolates are healthy once taken in moderation. I am talking about dar chocolates! It has less sugar, milk, and sodium. Chocolates are rich in flavonoids that acts as antioxidants that protect the body from aging caused by free radicals. These free radicals cause damage to our cells that may lead to heart disease. Dark chocolates (not milk chocolates) contains more antioxidants than strawberries so it isn't something dieters should avoid. Flavonoids help relax blood pressure and it also balances certain hormones in our body. So there is no reason for you to totally keep away from it. There are only 27 calories in a 0.048 large bar of Sweet or Dark Chocolate. Calorie breakdown: 55% fat, 42% carbs, 3% protein.

So with these figures, are you still going to avoid chocolates? It isn't that bad and very much healthy. Now you can enjoy it in cakes, desserts, bars, and even drinks without having to feel bad about it. What a great way to enjoy your sweets, guilt free! bounce

Thank you for making me feel less guilty for craving too much dark chocolates. I am a big fan of chocolates since I was a kid. I do prefer to eat dark now because I know that it has less calories and won't hurt my belly too much Very Happy. 27 calories is totally guilt free especially when you can enjoy a big bar instead of just a tiny bit. I actually just had a Swiss Miss dark chocolate drink and it wasn't bad at 150 calories because it was so good!

Is this really true? Recently, I have read a report that a bar of chocolate everyday, actually reduces the rate of heart attacks and strokes...if this turns out to be true, it shall be a huge bonus for chocolate lovers.

Thanks chocolates are very delicious but as mentioned should be taken in moderate amount otherwise they will lead to weight gain. Regular exercise might help you burn those extra calories gained after consuming chocolates and avoid a tummy tuck.

I absolutely agree that chocolate is necessary! Even if you keep to a diet ,don't refuse eating chocolate. One small piece in the morning will not make you fat, but happy and satisfied! =)
